A couple of weeks ago, Pierce and I started a spring project with some wheat grass seed.
We planted the letter "P" for Pierce.
And then put it in the sun.
It quickly started to grow.
You have to look kind of hard, but you can see the "P" now.
Wheat grass shot, anyone?
We had lots of time on the porch this week, and broke out the wagon.
Emily, the daughter of my best friend from fourth grade (!) came over to play.
She generously pulled Pierce around in the wagon.
Then asked Pierce to pull her.
He stubbornly refused.
We're going to have to work on that...
The twins worked puzzles on the floor and Reid kept stealing Cort's pacifier.
Even though Reid doesn't use a pacifier because he sucks his thumb.
Stinker!
And Pierce embraced his Santee Sioux heritage (you'd never guess it to look at him, would you?) by making up his very own Indian name:
Pierwawce is now ready to go to the Sun Dance.
We also capped off the week with a fun journey to the science and history museum, but I'll save that for another post.
Looking forward to more sunny weeks ahead!
Gotta love a kid who wears a Bob Marley shirt with a Wonderpets cape :-)
ReplyDeleteWe're expecting fifties and sunshine for a couple of days.... I am so relieved! :)
