Remember I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that Paul was working on a special project for the boys?
Well, it's just about done - all it needs is some dirt to level off underneath the slide.
This past Christmas (and Pierce's birthday), our family relatives were all so generous.
The money that they gave the boys was saved for this wonderful cedar playset.
Now we don't have to pile into the car and drive into town for swingset fun.
It came complete with clubhouse. I hope it's not going to be no girls allowed.
Glider swing, which can sit two boys at once.
Picnic table
Rock wall. Pierce is a pro.
Telescope, overlooking our back pasture. It has a nice view of one of our apple trees, where deer gather during the fall.
I can't imagine a better gift for the boys. They are going to have so many fun adventures on this. And we're finally getting a few days warm enough to use it!
Special thanks to our relatives Cat Cat and Pop Pop, Pam and George, Granny Anne and Grandad, and Grandpa Bob and Grandma Carol for making this possible. We love you!

OK - I think my comment must have self-destructed because it disappeared! What I originally said was that this is such a great gift! I had a tree house and swing-set when I was growing up, and there are a lot of memories and make-believe still attached to it :-) They're going to LOVE this!
Paul did a great job with such a huge project. Fun to see it go from a pile of boards and boxes in the driveway to every kid's dreamfort. I'll bet that thing was a killer to assemble :-)
Now you have to figure out how to keep them inside when the weather is creepy. The Workman Brothers are going to want to be out there every minute. I don't blame them. Kid Heaven!
I am so jealous! The playset has everything. The spy glass is wonderful. I bet you will be out playing on it constantly.
Oh, wonderful! They are going to love it!
they will love it and so will you : ) great gift!!!
that is wonderful for your sons! reminds of my days of youth long long gone...lol
What fun! All boys need a place like that to let their imagination soar and burn off some energy!
That's fantastic! The boys (and you!) are going to love it! Spring, come one down!
Oh thats a fun set up! A rock climbing wall!!! Now if I was a little person I would be all over that rock climbing wall! :O)
I'm sure the boys are going to love this playset in the coming months. And Mom and/or Dad don't have to leave home to enjoy watching the kidlets burn off some of that energy! :)
Wow that is awesome! What a cool swing set. I bet they'll want to be out there any chance they get :)
That was a wonderful wonderful gift - yeah for grandparents. sandie
That's awesome!! You'll probably be fighting the boys in the summer to come in at night. How cool that is for them!
THAT looks like a ton of fun!!!

OHHHH! I am SO jealous. We totally want one. Can we come over and play, too? :)
