My Children Are Such Monsters

One minute I'm busy fixing dinner, and the next minute I hear a ruckus.  I look up to see the house has been invaded by little monsters.

I don't know which monster is scarier - the one with the hook or the one with the light saber.

Somehow, I don't think I'd like to tangle with either one of them.

Even though they looked so ferocious, the monsters kept giggling as they battled on.
Eventually, I decided to let the monsters have their fun, and I returned to the stove.  Readers, have you seen any good monster fights lately?

So great to see children playing pretend! Mine still do and their friends think they are acting "babyish" it makes me sad.

  5. Too cute! I still have a few who dress up for battle and I love it--but they're too old to take pictures of!

  16. No monsters here either, and oh how I miss Little Boy antics. Big Boy antics are not as much fun.

  19. EEEEEK! Nope. No monsters here.

I will admit to a lot of noise and ruckus though--my college son came home last weekend. Criminy, I was so crabby!! The kids were laughing so hard and screaming and yelling at the video games....and I'm not used to that anymore! I went quietly back to my room to be less crabby while they had fun. Don't I sound like I'm 100 years old???! :P
