1. When we went to the pumpkin patch with the twins' preschool class (this is the last of them, I promise!), I was shooting some pictures and I got photobombed!
2. See the bottom left corner? Yup, photobombed. What do you think that black streak is? Leave a comment, and I will draw one random commenter to send one of my homemade fairy, dog or cat soaps (winner's choice). The winner doesn't even have to have the right answer, you enter just by guessing! Next week I'll tell you just what the photobomb is.
3. I don't really like turkey. I prefer the sides at Thanksgiving, and don't tend to even put turkey on my plate - or if I do it's just one small bite, for the spirit of it.
4. My favorite sides are green beans, mashed potatoes, my Dad's oyster stuffing, and broccoli cheese casserole.
5. For those of you with children, this might interest you (I will have a review and giveaway up in the next few weeks): K5 Learning has an online reading and math program for kindergarten to grade 5 students. I've been given a 6 week free trial to test and write a review of their program. If you are a blogger, you may want to check out their open invitation to write an online learning review of their program.

I'll guess horse's tail on the photobomb pic.
ReplyDeleteI don't really like the thanksgiving turkey though I like turkey when it is prepared in other ways. The sides are the best part of the meal. Leftover dishes can be made with turkey that are better than the original sliced style.
ReplyDeleteI;m thinking your own hair blowing in the wind..but the angle is off. Ixnay on the oyster stuffing, but broccoli cheese casserole...YUM!
ReplyDeleteIs it a dog tail?
ReplyDeleteOh now I want a turkey sandwich and mashed potatoes and gravy oh boy now you did it:) Hug B
Oyster stuffing I used to love it and haven't eaten turkey for over 15 years. I think you were PB'd by a hand (please exclude me from draw ;-) living in France so I prefer to avoid participating) do love this shot though.
ReplyDeleteThat photo bomb is a zombie hand
ReplyDelete1st thought scarecrow or 2nd thought black crow?
ReplyDeleteso curious. i luv turkey. i'll have ur share. thx. ( :
I think it's a little girl's ponytail :)
ReplyDeleteI am with you on the Turkey - I'm not a Fan! But I DO love those side dishes!! For 3 years now we've been going to the Inn at Va Tech for their Thanksgiving Buffet and it has been awesome! Every side you can imagine!
Looks like the wing of some kind of bird or turkey?
ReplyDeleteCreature tail -
ReplyDeletePhotobombed? I did not know the term. BUT, i like it.
Please - post away - whatever you feel like sharing - it lifts our day.
That fairy is lovely . . . is this part of your creation . . ???
I have always rebelled about the expected Thanksgiving Food. I suspect because I have a contrary streak . . . Thank you for sharing - I feel like a nicer person this morning because of you.
Happy Friday!
aha!!! found that fairy on etsy . . lucky me (grin)
ReplyDelete-g-
Flying Spider, for sure!
ReplyDeleteI love home grown free range turkey, but the tasteless store bought stuff, nuh,uh.
Julie
So, I am guessing girl's pony tail in the picture...really have not clue.
ReplyDeleteWe don't even have turkey for Thanksgiving...we have ham. Just don't care for turkey....my husband does but he is the only one.
I guess... it's a donkey tail
ReplyDeleteCorn husk, thrown by a child into your picture is my guess.
ReplyDeleteCreepy! I think it is the shadow of a crow that was trying to fly away with your camera. Maybe.
ReplyDeleteI don't eat turkey either but everyone else in the fam. just loves it. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's a dog's tail! That fairy soap is so awesome!
ReplyDeleteit looks like hair. i'm going to have to go with a ponytail, too.
ReplyDeletei love white meat turkey and all the mashed potatoes w/ gravy that'll fit on my plate - but HAVE to have lumpy cranberry sauce, too.
A ponytail.
ReplyDeleteI love turkey. What I hate is that icky green bean casserole with the onion fries on top.
My first thought was a dog's tail, but now I am not sure. Looks like you had a great day for the trip.
ReplyDeleteLove your site! Thanks so much for commenting on Sandie's (Chatty Crone) blog yesterday. It's great to meet you! :)
Happy weekend!
I'll guess that it's a hand. Your fairy soap is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like turkey OK. Since I'm eating meat again, I guess I will have some this Thanksgiving. But I really like it best as leftovers on a sandwich: turkey, mayo and salt on white bread. Yum yum. :-)
Dog tail.
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll take your turkey if you don't want it! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a strange photobomb! My guess is that it's someone's hand that came up into the shot and they tried to pull it away quick, hence the blurriness? Not really sure though!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a black bird's wing to me.
ReplyDeleteBad hair day? Pass that turkey please. I hope you will post the stuffing recipe.
ReplyDeleteI believe it's a turkeys feather.
ReplyDeleteIt was a tradition at our home to have oyster dressing too.
Now we make it every year too.
I love the sweet potatoes and stuffing best.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if your hair is that long. Maybe an animal tail??
ReplyDeleteI do love turkey with mashed potatoes, but I never eat turkey sandwiches. lol
Hmmm...your hair?????...:)JP
ReplyDeleteI just learned recently about photobombing (have had it happen a few times) - My guess is it's a wild turkey.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty soap.
I don't mind turkey although I prefer the dark meat to the white.
Oysters of any kind, not going to happen for this gal.

It looks like a pony tail to me!
ReplyDeleteInteresting term, "photobombed"! It looks almost like a spider or some kind of insect on your camera lens. I'm with you in prefering the sides to the turkey. The ones you mentioned sound great. I'd have to include pumpkin pie as one of my favorite parts of the meal too!
ReplyDeleteI think the photobombed is the top of a corn stalk...with the tassle..
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures and going to a pumpkin farm is so much fun and gives the kids lots of memories..and with your camera you can show them the pictures you took when they get older...
Have a tiggeriffic day~!~! TA TA FOR NOW FROM IOWA:)
Donkey tail
ReplyDeleteI though it was one of the kids with a corn stalk ??
ReplyDeleteThe fairy soap is so pretty!
I'm going with your ponytail. I'm late commenting though---I'm sure everyone already guessed it.
ReplyDeleteThanksgiving is all about the company and the SIDES!!
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it is a goat tail. Bhhhaaaaa.
It looks very mysterious to us!
ReplyDeleteThank you for coming to give me love and good healing thoughts while I get better.
love
tweedles
That looks like a skeleton hand.. :D Probably just a scarf, or hair..
