On a chilly, windy day, I took Pierce outside in hopes of taking a Christmas card photo. I miss the days when bloggers could share their Christmas cards on their blog and get them free. Last year, after spending over $50 for photo cards (and that was with a discount) I decided just to send normal cards and order some prints (this cost me a much more reasonable $10).
Anyhow, when we were out trying to find the perfect shot, I got distracted by the 500 pound furball in our pasture. The wind was blowing her crazy mane all over, and I have to believe she posed for this shot. You know - she wouldn't make such a bad Christmas card, now that I think about it.
Readers, have you sent out your Christmas cards yet?

I don't send cards anymore.
It looks like a glamor shot! :)
We have our Christmas cards ready, but I need to put them in the mail. This is the worst part for me.
Your furball looks lovely out in that windy pasture. Good idea you had to buy the cards, and send the prints!
Ready to mail out my cards. My list keeps getting longer with all these new additions (grandkids) popping up all over the place!
Love the fur ball! My cards will be ready soon m, I hope!
I sent out the bulk of our cards yesterday... just have the family ones left to mail after I sneak some surprises inside.

I have never sent Christmas cards to anyone. I think my children made cards for their grandparents when the kids were little and my wife sent the cards out.
Harriet looks lovely! She makes for a great Christmas card. I haven't fixed mine yet. I bought some last year and didn't send them :-( so I hope I can do it this year.

Thanks for the card! I got it the other day. Your boys are adorable!
I really wish you would stop picking on MY LITTLE PONY!!!!...:)JP
Mine is off to the printers.
What a cutie! I'd like to make some calendars with our dog, I should get to it soon so they get ready by the end of the month.
I think that would make a beautiful card. That's a beautiful animal. I haven't made out my Christmas cards yet. I need to get on it.
Christmas cards ARE expensive, but that is sometimes the only time during the year we send a note to some of our friends...and I like getting photos of their families in return. I figure it is my once-a-year splurge.
I usually send a picture every other year since we are all grown up. I love the photo of Harriet, it's perfect and would make a beautiful card!
