The other day, he told me that his favorite comic was Garfield. This warmed my heart, because my favorite comic as a kid was Garfield too. I used to have a stuffed Garfield. How about you, readers? Do you read the comics? Do you have a favorite?

I love Garfield too:) Hug B
Pierce has great taste...Garfield was one favorite of mine as well!...:)JP
I don't take the paper anymore, but as a child that was the prize in a Sunday's paper for sure!
I was before Garfield but we liked Peanuts which is what they call Charlie Brown most of the time now.
Since I work in cubical land I'm a Dilbert fan.
Lady and the Tramp was my favourite as a kid :-), I still enjoy the comics. Sweet photo.
I liked Blondie. I don't know if they still have that though, since it is a long time since I bought a Sunday paper.
I've never been a fan, but my husband likes comics, so he'll enjoy reading to and with the kid when the time comes!
no, i used to read them as a kid but i don't even get the paper now. love that piggie planter :)
Just look at that sweet boy with the adorable smile. :)
Nope, don't read comics. I'm a loser. LOL
when i got the paper, i always scanned the comic pages. family circus, far side, garfield, peanuts were always faves.
We don't get the paper anymore, but when we did, the girls and I read them!! I loved Garfield as well.
Not so much anymore though I was addicted to Far Side as long as it existed and Peanuts Charles Schultz and I grew up together in St. Paul...:)
I use the comics to wrap gifts!
I rather enjoy "Pickles".
I never really got into them. But Mica does! My Grandpa on my Dad's side did to.
Garfield is one of my all time favorites. I still have my stuffed Garfield. And in my second year of college I used a Garfield tote for my books instead of a backpack. lol I like Get Fuzzy now.
I really love comics. When I was a little girl I read almost everyday and borrowed some from library almost everyday too.
I used to read a lot of them but they seem so much less funny to me now than they used to...anyhow, I still like Beetle Bailey and Hagar the Horible...that's about all I read now
I luv Baby Blues best! ( :
Hammie & Zoe r too funny!
I used to read them - we don't even get a paper anymore.
I remember loving the comics as a kid. I can't remember my fave, but when I got older Family Circus was one I really liked.
I always read the comics as a kid and enjoyed Family Circus!
Garfield was the best!

No more ---but hubby still loves Dilbert (although that is not really a 'funny' comic, is it????) ha....
I do remember sharing the comics with my kids when they were little. AND--as a little girl (many moons ago), I loved reading Comic Books...
I published a cute blog today from our vacation in Cataloochee this past week. Check it out if you haven't yet.
Hugs,
Betsy
I don't read them much, they used to be a treat.
This is a beautiful picture! And oh those long eyelashes and wonderful smile! That is so sweet that he loves Garfield, and NOT something violent. I liked all the Archie ones. Back then they were ten cents, and the thick seasonal ones were not much more. I would walk up the block to the corner drug store and loved waiting for the new ones!
I loved Opus.
I used to love Peanuts. We also liked to take silly putty and transfer the cartoons onto that. I haven't seen a newspaper in years. Sad.
Bela criança...Espectacular....
Cumprimentos
He's so cute! I always liked Peanuts and Garfield. :)
Sunday paper? What's that?
I like Family circle and Marmaduke .
Oh that is cute he likes to read them being so young.
Oh I enjoyed his hip, hop toss me over dance. He is quiet the dancer and aerobatic.
What a cutie face.
Sunday Comics were a real highlight in my life when i was a kid. Now my favorite strip is "Rose is Rose.'
I have a brother who as always enjoyed Comics on Sundays. I do read The Family Circus!
Graphic novels are big now for kids. They are books that are written in comics style. Many for young readers like your guys.
