Do You Read the Comics?

When I was a kid, I loved to read the comics in the Sunday paper.  My Dad would save them for me.  Now, we save the comics from the paper for Pierce.  He loves to read books and funny stories.

The other day, he told me that his favorite comic was Garfield.  This warmed my heart, because my favorite comic as a kid was Garfield too.  I used to have a stuffed Garfield.

How about you, readers?  Do you read the comics?  Do you have a favorite?

  21. No more ---but hubby still loves Dilbert (although that is not really a 'funny' comic, is it????) ha....

I do remember sharing the comics with my kids when they were little. AND--as a little girl (many moons ago), I loved reading Comic Books...

I published a cute blog today from our vacation in Cataloochee this past week. Check it out if you haven't yet.

  23. This is a beautiful picture! And oh those long eyelashes and wonderful smile! That is so sweet that he loves Garfield, and NOT something violent. I liked all the Archie ones. Back then they were ten cents, and the thick seasonal ones were not much more. I would walk up the block to the corner drug store and loved waiting for the new ones!
