The long anticipated biannual family bingo night returned last month. The boys so love to play bingo.
Alas, we struck out again. We didn't win the yard of Snickers bars or the marshmallow shooter. The aquarium starter kit didn't go home with us. The boys watched in frustration as these fabulous prizes went to other hands.
Next time they want more cards! We can handle five cards a piece, they say! I don't know about that. I pay for one card a piece ($1.00 for the card, which can be reused all evening). But if they want to dig up some change and buy extra cards, they can have at it. They still might not beat out all those competitive lovely silver-haired ladies though! Bring it, February bingo night!

Neat prizes and cheap family fun!
The izzak Walton club I belong to is funded with Bingo, so I have called and passed out lots of money. They have it once a week.I hope you have a game at home, it is easy for all ages.
Now that's what I call fun times!
That looks like a lot of fun. So happy they enjoy themselves!
LOL they are gonna start carrying around those big markers and come with snacks in a bag to compete against the old professional gals are they?
My sympathies to your boys. I've taken on those elderly silver haired ladies in bingo myself. They fanatical and leave us males of all ages little chance for victory. As to Great Expectations go for it. I loved it and it was way better than Silas Marner, Romeo and Juliet, although Caesar, Henry the whatever were pretty good in llth grade...:)
I've got a son who would eat this up. I'm afraid he's going to end up a gambler.
Sounds like a good time was had by all. Soon they'll be saving up their allowances for trips to Vegas!
awe - I hope they win in February. I used to love playing bingo also. One night when I was about 10, playing at the officer's club on the base; I won a six pack of beer. My dad gave me $2.00 for it. LOL
They look so cute as always.

That's fun! I never would have thought of Bingo. I haven't played that in years. The five cards at a time plan did sound funny! A cool way to up the ante!! :)
I get it, I totally love bingo! I played at an Indian casino once and it was the fastest thing I have ever done. It was a total whirlwind. Good luck to your boys next time!
Aw I hope they win something cool. :) I like Bingo too.
So fun! I used to love going with my grandmother to her bingo nights; however, the people at her place meant business. As a seven year old, I could quite possibly leave there with $50 in my pocket. It happened once, and the bingo players sulked about it, but no one ever said I couldn't play. (My grandmother, of course, took the money back that she used to help me buy the cards...) What great memories!
LOL that's cute that they like to play bingo. We always called it an old ladies game.
