When we went to get our Christmas tree, the boys had a blast running between the rows of trees and playing hide and seek.
And then? Then they found the rope swing.
Was everyone warm, dry, and clean on the way home? What do you think?
Next year we'll be bringing a change of clothes for the Christmas tree excursion. And maybe some tall mud boots too.
So now you need to have a swing, love sailing through the air still
ReplyDeleteYou just never know what fun might be found in the middle of nowhere.
ReplyDeleteheh, Rope swing, creek, boys....
ReplyDeleteWhat could go wrong?
I would have totally let my boys do that. Especially since the weather was warm. Hopefully the muddy clothes weren't too bad to clean. I know that can be a problem. My boys go to a camp where they get muddy. I have certain clothes they wear just for that camp.
ReplyDeleteoH WOW!! It has been so cold here that I haven't ventured out much. I bet they were glad to get home to a warm house.
ReplyDeleteThat looks fun! Yeah, a change of clothes is a good idea next year!!! Sending wishes for a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteWhy am I not surprised? LOL
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! I hope everyone got nice and dirty. Hee! Hee!
ReplyDeleteLOL I would guess everyone went home drenched. Isn't that how it's supposed to go? ;)
ReplyDeleteA very nice creek! I really love creek, it reminds me into my childhood in my Granny house that there were some creeks and very clear streams surround it.
ReplyDeleteBoys! I remember them well! Had two of my own, and they were always up to mischief!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! Fun times...what's a little mud? LOL! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI do think everyone had a good time.. even if they were muddy!

Sounds like a lot of fun! :)
ReplyDeleteAn added benefit to the tree hunting expedition. Your kids sure don't lack for "enriching experiences."
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice find! You did say boys rarely stay clean this time of the year, lolol!!
