I was a little disappointed in Bobby, who didn't climb the Christmas tree once! He will still chew up everything in sight though. Including the Christmas tree lights.
I took this picture of him on an unseasonably warm afternoon last month. The sort of 'winter' day where you lay out on the grass and delight in the warmth of the sun. Those kind of days can carry you through the cold spells in January and February.
Bobby hasn't grown that much since he was dumped at the end of our driveway back in early September. I'm thinking he is going to be a small cat. We love him, even when he is chewing up our boxes/earphones/cell chargers/books....

Heh nothing is more annoying than a young cat that has found a home he is comfortable with. They are delightful but such a pain at the same time. Our newest one has taken to opening my desk drawer and pulling all sorts of items out then leaving them all over the house for me to find.
The animals really like soaking up the sun this time of year, even the chickens appear to be taking naps in the sun. It won't happen today so it seems.
Ugh. We have never had a chewer, although I have heard horror stories from others. Is the chewing from boredom, I wonder? Does he have enough toys and are the boys playing with him a few times a day??
He is a cutie though!
Unconditional love - that's a beautiful thing. :)

He is so sweet and a very lucky boy to be a part of your family. Have a great weekend.
Connelly was a climber when he was young, he eschewed curtains (thankfully!) but everything else was fair game.... including bare legs. OW!
I had one cat who I let come in from the stables because of a harsh winter. it tried to eat all the fake birds on the tree.I named it Treetrimmer.
Awww...Bobby is adorable! Those warm days were wonderful. Now it's soooo cold. Spring can't come soon enough for me. :)
You are so great to take in animals. I wish we could have a dog. My boys would love having one.
Bobby is gorgeous!
What you are doing is so generous, Lisa. While on my Holiday trip, I watched a story about private pilots who transport thousands of dogs in Southern L.A. pounds to new owners in Idaho. The pet population in L.A. is so out of control. No mention was made of Cats, but I'm certain many need a loving home too. This is a good looking little guy! :)
Bobby is a beautiful kitty! And he is so smart in knowing to lay in those sun puddles and soak up the sun!

Cats have their own rhythm. He looks content with his life.
Gosh, he is a rascal, isn't he?...:)JP
What a sweet cat! He's got the right idea about enjoying the sun on those warm winter days... I want to lay out in the grass too! How lucky he is to be a part of your family.
Sounds to me like he is a very lucky cat. :)
He is such a cutie pie. One of our cats still looks like a kitten and she's at least 10 years old. I also have a 'chewer'....he loves rubber and can destroy a flip flop in a matter of seconds.
I hope you get some sunny days here and there so you can soak it up!
Love to see him basking in the sunlight. I agree that days like that one can carry us through the winter. I could use one of those days sometime this week. :) Hope the chewing stops soon!

a cat who thinks he's a dog!
Bobby is cute! I hope he outgrows his bad habits.
Kudos for taking him in and making a home for him. He looks happy as a little clam ,er, cat:)
Cute cat!
I'm sure he's a sweetie . . your photo suggests he could be lively, when he wants.
Sun?? What is Sun?? I live in Pennsylvania and in the winter we hardly ever see it.
