Dinosaur Kale

Something keeps getting into the garden.  I see it out of the corner of my eye from time to time.  It really seems to like my kale.

First squash bugs, now this.  My garden issues just never seem to end.

Readers, what plagues your garden?

Keep the dinosaur kale there to keep away all the other garden bugs. Lol!

Oh, no, you have a very interesting garden problem this year! May be time to call in the three resident experts on dinosaurs! :-)

I used to have a real problem with vicious attack panthers but they have mostly moved on now. The speeding needle nosed hummingbirds of death piercing however are still around.

I don't think they make a dinosaur repellent! lol
Over the last few days, Jap. beetles are on our roses. I used Bayer Rose granules, and they are gone!

Dinosaur Repellent, huh????? ha ha ha..... We have trouble with Rabbits eating some of our plants/flowers --but luckily, not too much...

Happy Memorial Day to you and yours.... Let's never forget those who did so much for us and our freedom. God Bless our Veterans. God Bless the USA.

Hugs,
Betsy

I wonder if he'll keep the rabbits and deer away? My clover garden is doing well and supporting a plethora of creatures.

I moved some of the plants that were plagued with squash bugs to another part of our property. I could not get rid of them, no matter what. I do feel your pain. Lately we have a flooding rain everyday. And, I do mean flooding. garden plants, and even flowers, are not responding well.

I think nothing will kill this! Except maybe another Big Bang. I have never seen one like this, it is so cool looking! Too bad it won't scare away the real thing! Hope you are having a great holiday, Lisa!

Honestly, I am hoping that nothing plagues my garden this year! I have had enough of all the pests :-) I planted radishes around every single squash/cucumber plant this year in hopes that the stink bugs and cucumber beetles never show up...maybe?!

Garden? It hasn't stopped raining long enough to plant!

Oh no! I hope the dinosaur works. It would keep me away!

I can't speak for my own garden, but my daughter's kale is also being chewed up. I don't see anything on the leaves, but they are pockmarked with tiny holes.

Grasshoppers and caterpillars. Last year didn't have either, it's a curse this year. LOL

We're getting slugs on our strawberries. I read that we can put beer into glasses, burry them most the way, and the slugs love it so much that they go for it instead of the strawberries.

Geez, that looks like the bearded lizard my daughter keeps as a pet! Yesterday her Iguana got off the deck, jumped in the lake, then swam back!

We get aphids and slugs too,
